This 8 hour course will partially meet the continuing education requirements for the State of Ohio and National Registry
Course content may vary but will not be limited to the following:
Pediatrics – Medical emergencies, child abuse
Geriatrics – Assessment, physiological changes with aging, elder abuse
Airway – Basic, advanced
Trauma – Head, thoracic, abdominal, geriatric, pediatric
Trauma Triage – Review of the Ohio Trauma Triage Protocols
Practical evolutions will take place with our SimMan patient simulator
Course Fee: $50.00 per person
Limit: 20 people
Fee Includes: Class, Handouts, and Continuing Education Certificate
This class is intended for EMT-Basics and EMT-Paramedics
