CITIZEN'S FIRE ACADEMY

The purpose of the Academy in NOT to make a firefighter out of our citizens but to enlighten the community about the fire service. all attendees will have the opportunity to "ride-a-long" on actual emergencies and see first hand what it takes to be a firefighter in Colerain Township. You will gain an understanding of the fire service that will stick with you for a lifetime.

The classes take place in the Spring and Fall, run for 11 weeks and are held on Wednesday nights.

You will learn:

    Colerain Township history and services

    EMS and CPR

    Tools of the trade

    Self Contained Breathing Apparatus

    Search and Rescue

    Auto Extrication

    Public Education and Fire Inspections

    Experience a live Burn!
